1982 Toyota FJ45 Land Cruiser, 55,489 miles, finished in correct
factory Toyota Pollux orange with gray interior. This truck has
gone through a complete frame-off nut and bolt restoration using
OEM factory Toyota parts. This example is also a factory power
steering, power brakes and A/C truck, a rare combination that is a
must for any Toyota collector or enthusiast.
1982 was one of the last years for US FJ style land cruiser
production, and the "45" longer wheelbase pickup designation being
one of the rarest for the year. Hundreds of hours went into the
restoration of this FJ45, with the sourcing of the OEM parts, plus
the labor concerning the all metal body work, upholstery, paint,
and assembly.
Having dealt with many classic FJ's in the past, we have found it
to be very rare to find a restored truck that is this close to
factory spec. Many have some sort of custom element that some
buyers may not want, or find unnecessary. This truck has been
restored by someone who had an eye for detail and a desire to stay
as close to the factory design as possible. Things like the half
dome hubcaps, period correct style tires, factory style wiring
harness, and correct bumpers are small details that set this truck
apart from a lot of the restored FJ's that ever appear on the
market.
Frankman Motor Co. has been serving our customers worldwide since
1988 and we love cars. Independent inspectors are always welcome
for those who can't make it here personally. Plus, don't forget,
when the time comes to get your classic home and are not sure how,
please ask. We work with professional haulers everyday and would be
more than happy to make the process as smooth as possible if you'd
like some assistance.
