Offered here is a low-mileage, 2-owner, and highly sought after air-cooled Porsche 911. 1989 marked the final year of the classic 911 before the 964 series was introduced in late 1989. This Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet is finished in the original paint, India Guard's Red (80K), over the original Black Leather (LT) interior with matching black soft top. The car is powered by the original, rear-mounted 3.2L/214hp FI H6 mated to the desired G50 5-speed gearbox. Excluding the aftermarket stereo and door speakers, the car remains 100-percent original.
In 1994, our client purchased the car for the original owner, a doctor from Newburgh, Indiana. The car had 17,000 miles. Since then, it has been routinely maintained and driven sparingly with just over 50,000 miles to date. It has always been properly stored indoors and has never been driven in any inclement weather, especially any Michigan winters. Fluids, filters, brakes, belts, and tires have been replaced over the years to keep it roadworthy. It starts on command and offers a nostalgic Carrera driving experience that cannot be duplicated, even more so with the top down.
This 911 Cab comes with the original Fuch wheels, original whale tail, original soft top cover, original tonneau cover, and original spare tire. It also has the original tool kit, books, soft top tool, and key. The doors, bonnet, and rear deck lid also retain their original, numbers matching stickers to prove its originality.
