1962 Ferrari 250GTE 2+2 Series II Chassis No. 3177 Engine No. 3177 Series II (the 29th of the 2nd Series) The 330th of a total of 954 units built This 1962 Ferrari 250GTE 2+2 Series II is an excellent original example with matching numbers. Black with black interior and accompanied buy it's original tool roll, chassis 3177 has an excellent body with excellent panel fit. Originally finished in Grigio Conchiglia (Silver) with Beige Connolly hides. It now wears new black leather on the front seats over red carpets. In the US since the 1960s, it has a well-documented ownership history and has also just completed a detailed service with copies of the service invoices on file. The car was repainted many years ago and while the overall presentation of the paint is very good, small areas of cracking can be noticed around the base of the front and rear windows. The exterior chrome is excellent throughout, with no pitting or corrosion. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with all correct equipment and the underside of the car is clean and rust free. Currently the car is ready to drive and enjoy. It starts easily and the engine sounds excellent and pulls strong with excellent oil pressure.
