Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a beautifully built 1978 Pontiac Firebird T/A. As soon as you walk up to this beast, its stance will tell you that it is far from your ordinary '78 Pontiac. This car was a 3 year project and absolutely no corners were cut in restoring this Firebird. Every panel was stripped and removed and sent over for an acid dip and all parts including all body panels, inner fenders, sub-frame, control arms, end links and complete rear axle assembly were E-coated before paint. The powerplant is a 468cid Pontiac engine that has been built to dominate the street or track. The bottom end was built by the infamous Nunzi Automotive out of Brooklyn, NY who is also renowned as one of the best Pontiac builders in the game. This monstrous 468cid is equipped with forged crankshaft, 4 Bolt main, forged pistons, crank wiper and windage tray. The Edelbrock heads were sent out to Butler Racing in Tennessee to for a full port and polish treatment to accommodate the power output of the Nunzi powerhouse. Full solid roller lifters, roller rocker arms which are also tied together with a girdle. This engine pumps out 600+ horsepower and is paired to a freshly built Liberty Transmission Super T-10 4 Speed with hardened case which was just completed in October 2016. The best part of enjoying all of this power is that the entire vehicle has been wrapped with Dynamat sound deadening material. The interior lighting has been completely upgraded to full LED and it shows very well on the dash and adds the perfect modern touch to a classic look. Gripping the steering wheel and ripping through gears will make you feel like a kid playing the latest racing video game. The tail lights are a sequential LED set-up that can be fully customized with different sweeping motions to your liking. This '78 has less than 1,000 miles since it has completely rebuilt and is ready to please its next owner.
