For sale in our Detroit showroom is a beautiful 1982 Chevrolet Corvette. 1982 meant a lot of improvements to the already impressive C3 Corvette which hinted to some features that were going to be available on the C4 Corvette. All 1982 Corvettes received the bulletproof 350 V8 with Crossfire Injection and a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The Cross Fire Injection set up was a controversial release as history tends to repeat itself as we all recall the controversial "Fuelie" Fuel Injected option available in the early 60's. Although the Cross Fire Injection was a hate it or love it setup, this is definitely a Corvette that will surge in value. 1982 the Corvette marked the last year of the Third Generation. This Corvette marked Chevrolet's first fuel injected engine for the first time in 17 years. The new 700R4 transmission came with a lower first and second gear for quicker acceleration and a 4th gear overdrive that lowered engine rpm by 30% on the highway. This Corvette has stood the test of time through proper care and careful storage with roughly 74,000 carefully driven miles. Of course a Corvette should be no other color than the original Red and to this day looks amazing. The interior is a newly upholstered Silver interior with a Kenwood AM/FM CD player with USB which adds the perfect touch to this classic crusier. The car has the stock alloy wheels on all four corners with period correct tires for a nice original look. This is the one you have been waiting for!
