The sleek lines as well as wide and low body stance, the new F-Body Platform and general good-looks made for a much better competitor than the already produced Corvair that was experiencing declining sales. One additional bonus of this design is that the engine bay could accommodate a wide array of engine options from an inline 6 cylinder to a 396 Cubic Inch V8. This example is equipped with the 327 Cubic Inch Chevrolet small block that starts very easily and provides plenty of power to get this Camaro up to speed without blinking an eye. This classic V8 is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts very nice and smooth. The addition of power front disc brakes and brake lines make stopping a breeze. This classic has also had recent suspension work including upper and lower ball joints. This car also features a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock chrome valve covers, open-element Edelbrock air cleaner, a steel cowl hood, Chevrolet Rally wheels and a dual exhaust with Glasspack mufflers. As you open that driver’s side door you are greeted by a newly restored interior that features a sport steering wheel, newer weather stripping, AM/FM aftermarket in dash stereo, new carpet and a solid dash pad.
