For Sale at Auction: 1968 Dodge Charger in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This one-of-a-kind Charger named "Velocity" debuted at the 2005 SEMA show, and was also featured at the Los Angeles and Detroit auto shows, as well as many other Mopar Performance displays across the country. It has been seen in Mopar Collectors Guide, Muscle Car Enthusiast and Popular Hot Rodding magazines. "Velocity" started out as a rust-free Arizona R/T 440. With Mopar Performance leading the charge, a complete rotisserie restoration was done by Time Machines of Hudson, FL. It has the very first 5.7-liter HEMI crate motor built by Chrysler, using a Tremec 5-speed transmission, Strange S-60 Dana 4:10 rear, and Sanderson Headers with Flowmaster exhaust system to transfer all the power to the ground. A custom one-off air cleaner was made. It has a Hot Rod Air conditioning system, custom-made low-back power bucket seats, Mopar Performance gauges, power windows and locks, and Baer power disc brakes. The front end is a tubular bolt-in version by AlterKation complete with coilovers and power steering using Flame River power. The interior features a custom-stitched Mercedes Ultrasuede material. Stereo is Alpine, with Polk Audio speakers and over 2,400 watts of power. "Velocity" only has 1,042 miles since built.
