Here is one of the most desirable of fourth generation Camaros.
This genuine 30th Anniversary Edition SS model is one of fewer than
1,000 built in 1997. Further, with options like a 6-speed manual
transmission and t-tops, it can be a tremendous amount of fun.
Originally from Missouri, this example has just 48k miles and a
clean history. The SPI label is intact with all the correct SS /
30th Anniversary codes. The car has a distinct look with its Arctic
White paint and orange stripes, as all 30th Anniversary cars
received, along with the functional SS hood scoop. I especially
like the t-tops, which are easily removed and stowed in the rear
compartment. They also have removable sun shades. Finally the car
has 17" white wheels with SS center caps.
The engine is the original 350ci LT1. It is in excellent working
condition, as is the Borg-Warner T56 6-speed transmission with
Hurst shifter. The rear axle has a limited slip differential with
3.42 gears. It's really a nice ride! The suspension, steering, and
brakes are all stock and unmodified.
The interior is highlighted by white leather seats which are the
perfect complement to the exterior. Note the factory "30" headrests
and SS dash plaque. Other features include cruise control, leather
wrapped steering wheel, and stereo with 12-disc CD changer. There
are also power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver seat. The heat
and air conditioning work properly too.
The 30th Anniversary Camaro definitely stands out from other fourth
generation models, especially with the SS features and t-tops. And
this example's low miles and nice options make it one worth
owning.
