A real factory overdrive TR250. Rust free. This Texas car had a complete rotisserie off the frame restoration about 16 years ago, with very few miles put on that was only used on sunny days and stored properly in a climate controlled garage. Included with the car is a giant stack of receipts and photos of the restoration which total in excess of $95,000 spent. A brand new proper reflective stripe top installed 1 year ago as well as new splines, wire wheels, new Universal 185R15 H rate dog bone tread Redline tires that are almost identical to the original Goodyear G800 Redlines that this car left the factory on. For some reason, a new set of SU carburetors were installed in place of the Strombergs. With the exception of a modern alternator and a beautiful Motolita steering wheel, the car is correct.
Very nice paint with great gaps, silver stripe, beautiful engine bay which is properly detailed and incredible beneath as the pictures show. Never undercoated and improved with Koni rear shock conversion. This car is special! During the restoration, it was noted that the original engine had a damaged cam bearing and a '69 TR6 block was used during the rebuild. It is believed that every part of the car (restored or repaired) is original. Leather seats were added to complete this luxurious, nimble sports car, made only 1 year and probably the most desirable of any of the TR line. Many claim to have this car, but upon inspection, you will see why this is the car you want to own. Priced fairly.
