This 1929 Mercedes Replica Kit Car is based on a 1969 Volkswagen
chassis. The ember red exterior sports a continental-style rear
tire, hood accents and nice chrome/stainless. Wire-wheel hubcaps
accent narrow-line white walls. The manual soft-top with plastic
rear window is in good condition. Power is furnished by the
4-cylinder air-cooled VW engine that runs very well and is backed
by a 4-speed manual transmission. Brakes are manual drum units.
This is certainly no trailer queen, but rather a very affordable,
dependable runabout for fun at the beach or the mountains.
