For Sale: 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Roadster in Kentwood, Michigan

Henry Ford spent most his first years fighting off the idea of changing the Model T which produced and sold over 15 million models before his son, Edsel, finally convinced him that some new features and comforts were necessary. On May 25th, 1927, Ford announced the shutdown of the plant and production of the Model T and began retooling the entire factory to begin its new and improved version, the Model A. They completed this process in almost 6 months and had cars pumping out quickly which was only possible due to Edsel secretly marshaling the design and sketch team to begin working on the new model prior to Henry ever even approving such a change.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautiful, and extremely well maintained 1930 Ford Model A Roadster. The exterior is in a very well kept Tan with Black fenders and accent pieces, and any blemishes are hard to come by in the paint as well as the chrome bumpers including the split rear. The exterior features that came originally on the A are still in place including the side and rear luggage racks, a very nice tan cloth top, and the always fun rumble seat that came with the Roadster. The inside of the Ford is equally as nice, with a very handsome brown leather that does not seem to have any rips, tears, or cracks in the leather. The era correct gauges are still in the dash with a water temperature and oil gauge added more increased longevity of the car. The engine in the Model A is the always classic and reliable 3.3L Inline-4 with a 3-Speed manual transmission that will keep you cruising down the road on the 19'' Whitewall Firestone tires.
