The M3 holds a pretty significant title as the only automobile to hold more titles in Motorsports history than the famed Porsche 911. It is also the most successful touring and grand touring car ever to have competed in racing.
The M3 was developed by BMW's in house motorsports division and began life in 1985. They were built as an alternative to the standard road vehicles being sold. They were given more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension/braking systems and a lighter weight more aerodynamic shell. The third generation of M3's were built from 2000 through 2006 as the E46 platform and were available in coupe, convertible and saloon variants. They came with the 333 HP 3.2 Liter 6-cylinder and had a top speed of nearly 170 MPH with out governor.
These fantastic automobiles are truly built with driving in mind. They are fast, comfortable and look excellent. This particular M3 we are offering today is very clean. It starts, runs and drives down the road like you would expect it to. The top is in good condition and operates flawlessly. The interior is good with average wear. The paint is still very clear and shiny with a few paint chips and light scratches as you would imagine a car with these miles. This is a ton of car for the money and is a blast to drive.
