1951 Ford Custom
There is nothing like the chrome you find on a 50's classic. This
car is no exception. This 1951 Ford is a survivor that needs
nothing to be enjoyed. It starts up and has a smooth idle with no
problem. It is a great driver that will have you cruising all over
town. It is coated in two tone Rootbeer metallic that looks amazing
in the sunlight. It is covered in all the original style chrome,
trim, and emblems that are in amazing shape. The large front bumper
and grill these Fords are famous for looks absolutely beautiful and
gives it a great look driving down the road. It has the vintage
style visor in place with the correct trim giving it a slightly
different look. Don't worry about it looking too stock because the
spot lights help to add just enough of a custom touch. It has a
nice stance and rides on polished steel wheels with thin white wall
tires. It currently doesn't run with the fender skirts on it but
they do come with the car and can be easily added and removed.
The classic flathead V8 is a smooth running engine that makes for a
great cruiser. It has been converted to an entirely 12 volt system
which makes finding parts and working on the car much easier. Only
high quality parts were used in its build including Edelbrock
heads, Edelbrock intake, a Holly four barrel street avenger
carburetor, a Fenton stroker cam and crank. It has a good tone
through Fenton headers and exhaust routed out the back. It has lake
pipes but are there for a custom look. The engine is mated up with
the stock 3 speed transmission with overdrive the shifts very
smoothly. It all sits on a stock chassis with Jamco Suspension
components.
The interior is left in the original style with rootbeer cloth
throughout. The dash is in amazing condition with all working
gauges, knobs, and switches. The trunk is finished out just as
nicely and is where you will find the spare wheel and fender
skirts.
This is a beautiful classic that will make anyone a very happy
