This authentic and documented GSX 455 Stage 1 is a 4-speed car and one of 118 built. It has two original and authentic factory Build Sheets. It has every title copy since new, including the car's first $2.00 title copy and original Bill of Sale. It's also documented with GSX Historic Society paperwork, the car's original options, original door VIN tag, original owner's manual and original starting tag. All of this authentic material is included with the sale. The beautiful ground-up restoration, with extreme attention to detail, was completed in 2016 using many NOS and original restored parts. No expense was spared. It is finished in beautiful and striking original color of Saturn Yellow code QQ, which was only available on the Buick GSX. This GSX has remained an Oregon car since new. Matching-numbers engine with SS code for Stage 1, matching-numbers Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and posi-traction rear end, intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. Original factory options include 455 Stage 1 engine, GSX package, hood tachometer, bucket seats with consolette, power disc brakes, power steering, original non-dot Goodyear Polyglas tires, posi-traction 3.42 rear end, gauge package, Rally steering wheel, Sonomatic radio, tinted glass and tilt wheel. The GSX Stage 1 4-speed is judged by many as one of the greatest muscle cars ever built, factory rated at 510 ft/lbs of torque - the highest rated in the muscle car era. This car possesses an outstanding authenticity and known history from new, and has had a beautiful high-end restoration.
