This 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Few muscle cars could match the light weight Nova when packed with big block Chevy power plant. The SS package added SS badges, a black-accented grille and tail and simulated hood air intakes. The SS was listed as an option package from 1968 on, instead of a separate trim level like before. While this particular ’71 Nova may have started life as a 6 cylinder, it has had new life infused into it with a Big Block package taking it to a whole new level. A 468 Big Block has been added to the mix. The engine has been kept clean yet simple with factory Chevy Engine Orange painted on the block, intake and Valve covers. A set of ceramic coated Hooker headers with 2 inch primaries feeding into 3 inch exhaust insure the 468 breathes freely. The engine is mated to a manual 4-speed, so be ready to side step the clutch and show off for your friends. The rear end has 3.73 gears with a Richmond Gear lock rite unit. The 454 badges on the fenders will let people exactly what they are messing with! The Dark Green metallic paint is complimented nicely with lighter Green Metallic flames giving this Nova a nostalgic s Muscle Car look. A beautiful set of aluminum wheels, 17’s in the front, 18’s in the rear finish off the look. The old school stance strikes a perfect pose, and brings back the memories of these beasts ruling the streets in the early 70’s. Inside, things have been kept stock looking by using the original bench seats and door panels. An AM/FM radio with a CD player has been added with speakers in the door and the rear package tray.
