Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet El Camino
This is a restored and customized '64 El Camino that was just finished in the last year.
In 1964, Chevrolet reintroduced an all new, mid-size El Camino based on the Chevrolet Chevelle that was dual-badged with both monikers as this one is.
This El Camino is striking with it's two tone blue and gray finish, matching with red accent interior, and a black liftable tonneau cover. The hood in the pictures is custom with the original available that has also been painted to match the car. All of the chrome is new or refurbished including the complete front bumper. The vehicle has a new hidden AM/FM/CD stereo and speakers to go with it. The dash has a full set of Dolphin gauges, new windshield has been installed, floor mats, seats, headliner, door panels, and an Ididit tilt steering column which are all brand new.
It is powered by a 1966 327ci V-8 Corvette engine with flat top pistons, Edelbrock cam/lifters, new HEI distributor, hoses, wiring kit (Itsasnap), camel hump heads, aluminum Eastwood radiator with shroud/16? electric fan with control sensor and a 600CFM Demon carburetor with Edelbrock intake manifold. That is tied to a 700R GM rebuilt automatic transmission and 9? Ford rear-end (Mosler type). Stopping power comes from power disc brakes in the front with new booster/master cylinder and drums in the back from a 1980 Trans Am with GTO calipers.
It has extremely nice paint and cosmetics, beautiful interior, engine bay detailing and bed floor. Must see!
