True Barn Find! These cars are worth $50k plus fully restored. 100-percent original 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner 2-Door Retractable Hardtop with 60k original miles. This car has factory air conditioning, power steering and brakes, town and country radio, padded dash and continental rear tire. Shortly after purchase, the original owner covered the seats with terry cloth covers to protect them. They remain all-original today and have done their job, the seat fabric is unworn. The car was driven into the owner's nephew's large garage in the late 60's with the hope that the nephew would restore it. He was more interested in building and racing Porsches so the car sat. The nephew recently died and the car is now for sale The car does need a total restoration but is all there and, as the pictures show, it remains in remarkable condition considering it hasn't moved in decades. The rear deck lid does open 2-inches or so as also shown in the pictures. This is a true timepiece with so much potential for the right investor. One of Ford's greatest creations and the pioneer of the hardtop convertible. Spare parts and original documents/books included. Call or e-mail if interested. Thank you for looking.
