The Reatta was conceived at the Buick headquarters, it would be a premium two-seat road car and would combine some of the best elements of both luxury and sports car. The manufacturing strategy of the Reatta project had two goals, establish a low-volume specialty assembly plant, and provide an "incubation center" program to improve low-volume build concepts and to try out and refine new assembly technologies and process for future implementation in other GM facilities. The Buick Reatta is a low-volume transverse front-engine, front-wheel drive, two-door, two-seater manufactured and marketed by Buick as a coupe (1988-1991) and convertible (1990-1991) - both featuring a 3.8 liter V6 engine and shortened version of the GM E platform, the same one that underpinned the Buick Riviera. As Buick's first two-seater since the 1953 Buick Skylark and its first convertible since the 1985 Riviera.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this two-owner low mileage very well maintained 1990 Buick Reatta convertible. This Reatta comes in a like new Arctic White paint, with a matching white vinyl top. The interior is as well in a like new condition in Blue with leather seats and very well kept Blue carpet. The engine in the Reatta is a 2.8L V6 with sequential fuel injection, around 165HP, there is the 4-speed automatic with overdrive while also having Gran touring suspension and fast ratio power steering with 15'' aluminum wheels. Some of the standard equipment which are all still functioning great are remote keyless entry, cornering lamps, power windows, electric dual mirrors with heated drivers side, antilock brakes, theft deterrent system. This Reatta does have some optional equipment and that being CD player with graphic equalizer matching body side molding. The instrument cluster is before its time with what appears to have all of the working digital display, there really are not a whole lof of Reattas left and very few that are still in as great of shape as this example, this car was meticulously kept and all of the features that came from the manufacturing including the window sticker, lots of literature about the design and production of the car and the leather case which has original manual. The Reatta still has all of the luxury and function it did when it originally rolled off the line and can roll right into your driveway!
