Here we have a truly amazing build of a 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Air
custom sedan that has had some of the most impressive workmanship
ever seen on a car. Bob Flak of Pioneer Classics in Pheonix was in
charge of the paint and body work on the sedan where it received a
10" stretch, 57 rear quarters, and Cadillac formal rear window. The
body is laser straight and all hood, doors, and trunk have a
perfect fit and finish to them. The silver and gray paint is show
quality with a deep high gloss finish, looks incredible. All chrome
and stainless are new and most of the stainless has been chrome
plated. All glass and weather stripping is new also. While the body
was on a rotisserie the underside of the car was sprayed with
Line-X the same gray color of the body which gave the car a clean
look but also works very well to reduce road noise. The complete
inside of the car was covered in Dynamat, this along with the
Line-X coating on the bottom makes for a super quiet ride inside
the car. The interior work was performed by MM Hot Rod Interiors in
Holly Pond Alabama featuring all leather seats and burled walnut
trim throughout. Both front seats are full power with power
windows, power mirrors, tilt wheel, cruise control, Vintage air and
heat, Dakota Digital dash, rear entertainment system, and custom
sound system. The interior work on this car is absolutely stunning,
the workmanship and attention to every little detail is amazing.
This beautiful creation sits on a custom built Paul Newman chassis
with C-5 corvette suspension front and rear which not only makes
the car drive like a sports car but also allows it to have power
steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. The drive train consist of
an LS1 fuel injected engine backed by a 4L60E automatic overdrive
transmission. The wheels are chrome plated 17" Corvette wheels with
custom built spinners and custom ordered white wall radial tires.
This Bel-Air runs and drives as good as a new car, super tight with
no shakes or rattles and quiet as can be on the inside. Everything
works on the car and it is as dependable as can be. This beauty
needs nothing and is turn key ready........
