TRIUMPH 1954 TR2 LONG DOOR ROADSTER, freshly restored, gorgeous Red with wonderful luster, Biscuit leather interior, this report gives all the many LINKS to the full components on the car today, this has the original numbers matching engine that is fully rebuilt, twin H4 type 1 ½” carburetors, the engine is the 121cid/1991cc, four-cylinder Standard Vanguard engine tuned to increase its output to 90+ bhp, very strong compression, new gear reduction starter, 4-speed transmission that is rebuilt, strong clutch system, great power when just finished, is equipped with the desirable, rare factory overdrive, working restored Lucas/Jaeger/ British gauges in the restored full dash pod, this car is just striking especially with the dual chrome fender-mounted mirrors, highly detailed underchasssis, body colored floors and gloss black painted frame, this TR2 even includes the cool ‘Brooklands Racing’ style wind screens that can be bolted to the top valence with factory racing mounts, this thusly gives two sets of windscreens, has the stock restored argent wheels, proper TR2 center caps, Kumho 165/80/15 tires, side curtains, just fantastic full suspension, bushings and shocks, also the steering box had the rebuild that was completed initially and then brought to a higher level by Fraser Dante, all brakes have just been checked and updated, many items like the TR2 specific badging that are hard to find are on this build, now ready for Spring 2017 shows, see www.fraserdante.com for further information and full inventory
