Vehicle Description
STK 2148 1979 Lincoln Mark V This 1979 Lincoln Mark V, age 37, is
mostly original other than a few items like radial tires, a battery
and some minor updates to the suspension. The speedometer reads
13,262 true miles. Look at the photos, its classic lines utilize
the long hood and short deck configuration that were prominent for
this generation of personal luxury cars. The original paint and
contrasting vinyl top are in very good condition. Factory Eagle
Wire Wheels' (special order) and period-correct narrow white-walls
add a sharp accent. Inside, the plush white leather interior shows
as new. This Mark V is equipped with AM/FM stereo, 8-track player,
tilt wheel, cruise and power tinted windows. Additional
power-assist options include: door locks, split-bench seat and
trunk release. The air conditioning system is fully functional.
Horsepower is provided by the factory 400ci Cleveland V8 (never
rebuilt and still running fine) backed by Ford's 3-speed C-6
automatic, one stout transmission. A solid chassis has power
steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes. This Lincoln was certainly
not a high volume model with production of around 75,000 units per
year for only 3 model years. As a result, there are very few of
these classic survivors around. This Mark V would look altogether
stately in your garage. Call 800-650-1055 or visit
