STK 2060 1950 GMC 100 Pickup Restored pick-ups are some of the best values in the classic car market today. Costs are still reasonable and asking prices continue to rise. This 1950 GMC 100 received a complete restoration in 2010. The truck is a solid example of worth in today's market. The body is solid and straight. Shut lines are all good. Yellow was the chosen color and all of the chrome pieces are in very good shape. A polished oak bed with stainless trim adds a definitive accent. Chrome wheels with 'baby moons' provide the final touch to the exterior. Interior seats and door 'cards' were redone in black vinyl. The restored dash holds a complete set of gauges that work well. The 235ci Stovebolt was rebuilt in 2010. It is now electrified by 12 volts and breaths through a split cast-iron exhaust manifold and dual exhaust - runs great. The 4-speed transmission is managed by a 3-foot long floor shift - too cool to be a Hurst. This is a very nice restored truck that is fun to drive. It won't be here long.
