Vehicle Description
STK 2092 1976 Chevrolet C20 Silverado Ever so often we take in
something that has modifications so well thought out and so well
executed that we question why the manufacturer hadn't done it.
These vehicles usually have only smart, subtle modifications to the
original version. Such is the case with this 1976 C-20. Two owners
in one family have had this truck since new. They have the original
Bill-of-Sale and all of life's documentation. This is not just a
C-20 pick-up. The current owner is an avid fan of the original
Camaro. In 2014, he created something special. If GM had thought of
it, they may have re-badged it as a 'Z-20'. When you sit behind the
wheel of this truck and hear that engine, the factory 454ci 'Rat
w/400 TurboHydramatic, it's easy to think big-block Camaro. The
entire drive train is matching numbers original - 77,883 documented
miles. It has never required a rebuild and sounds wonderful thru
tube headers. The fully restored body was repainted in 2014 with
Camaro Hugger Orange. It is dead straight and the paint job is
virtually flawless. The exterior is accented with nice bright work,
a custom tube grille and custom hood. A nice set of 8-lug, 8-spoke
polished alloys hold Michelin radials. The detailed chassis and
engine compartment are up to spec with the rest of the truck, but
it is the interior that separates this 'Z-20' from the others.
Using the Z-28 theme, the bench seat was recovered in black vinyl
and 'hounds-tooth' cloth. The center jump seat even has a fold-down
console if needed. A Camaro alloy spoke wheel completes the
transformation. It could not look better. The Chevy is equipped
with power steering, power disc/drum brakes, tinted windows, AM/FM
stereo and fully functional A/C. Trucks like this do not come
around often. Call 800-650-1055 or visit
