For Sale: 1959 Volvo Pickup 445 in Concord, North Carolina
STK 2010 1959 Volvo PV445 Pickup specialkarosser AB Skab Back in
the late '50s there were a few companies in Sweden that built these
rare PV445 Pickup trucks in conjunction with Volvo. AB Skab built
this one in 1959 and then it was completely restored in 2007. The
PV445 has the same frame as the Volvo station wagon with a custom
cab and various bed configurations. This truck has a wooden flat
bed that has been beautifully re-constructed from white ash. The
bare frame was blasted and repainted with epoxy primer/paint. The
cab was professionally rebuilt by hand and then painted in the
original Volvo Gun Metal Grey. This truck is powered by an 1800cc
B18 Volvo engine with a 4-speed M40 manual transmission. The front
suspension has been rebuilt and new u-joints, shocks, balanced
driveshaft and rear suspension components have been added. The
interior was fully restored and the original-look red and white
vinyl seats, dashboard, headliner and door panels are all in good
condition. Some of the original paperwork and manuals are also
included. This PV445 is ready for a new Volvo owner who can enjoy
something very rare and quite unique. Please call 800.650.1055, or
visit www.autobarnclassiccars.com for additional information. ALL
VEHICLES SOLD AS IS.
