Vehicle Description
STK 2095 1963 Ford Falcon Futura If you are a fan of the show 'Jay
Leno's Garage', you may have seen an episode that that features
Jay's white 1963 Falcon Sprint. It is one of his favorite drivers.
These little Falcons were the basis for the classic 64-1/2 Mustang.
However, as far as structural integrity, many feel that the larger,
wider body of the Falcon provides a better performance platform
than the early Mustangs. Many of these Falcons were used with great
success on road-racing circuits in the '60s. Although this little
Futura hardtop is not a factory Sprint, it is a perfect donor for a
'clone'. The body and chassis are straight and true. The red finish
was applied in 2010 and is in good condition. All of the major
chrome components have been re-dipped and the stainless has been
reconditioned. The current power train is Ford's bulletproof 170ci
straight six that was professionally rebuilt in 2011. It is backed
by a 3-speed manual gearbox with 'three-on-the-tree'. That said, if
you are thinking performance, the engine bay would easily accept a
potent 302 crate and the clutch linkage is there for a 4-speed.
Easy conversion - Sprint-Plus clone. If you want a unique Blue
Oval, come take a good look at this nice example of the early
Falcon. You will be pleased. Call 800-650-1055 or visit
