Vehicle Description
Stk. 2197 1954 Chevrolet BelAir
Back in 1954, the BelAir was the top-of-the-line Chevrolet. This 2-door hardtop is a solid example of that classic. An Oklahoma car by birth, the exterior is all-original except for a full body re-spray of Red/White Mist paint (1983). The eye-catching appearance is accented by fender skirts, full hubcaps and wide-white 15" 4-ply tires. Other rare options include: windshield sunvisor, dual outside mirrors, fender 'gun sites' and bumper/grill/fender guards. The cloth/vinyl interior shows very well. Seats were stripped to their springs and then rebuilt with new padding and new factory-style red/white upholstery. A new headliner sports (3) classic chrome strips. Comfort options include: radio, heater, 'wind-up' clock, dash-mounted Day/Night mirror and windshield washers. The solid BelAir is powered by a 235ci 'stovebolt' straight-six that has received a top-end rebuild. In addition, a full-service has been completed including a new fuel pump, water pump, battery and ignition system. The fuel tank was also replaced. Behind the 'stovebolt', a 2-speed PowerGlide transfers power to a stock rear differential. This BelAir is ready for a new owner who will appreciate this classic hardtop.
