Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 Ford Mustang
Hardtop Coupe for purchase. When Ford introduced the 1st generation
of Mustangs they flipped the entire automotive industry on its ear.
The unibody design was much smaller, lighter, and more rigid than
anything available. Designed in majority by L. David Ash, the
Mustang project had been given five goals for the design of the
Mustang: it would seat four, have bucket seats and a floor-mounted
shifter, weigh no more than 2,500 pounds and be no more than 180
inches in length, sell for less than $2,500, and have multiple
power, comfort, and luxury options.
This Mustang and its iconic lines and name starts up every time
drives and functions great and comes in a very nice dark burgundy
with a very nice shimmer to the paint. The all black interior has
held very well and the leather and carpet are in tremendous shape.
The dash and instrument cluster are all in working condition, and
the steering wheel and shifter are according to the owner original.
The Mustang has the always reliable and well known Ford Inline-6
200ci and starts and runs with no problems, with white-walled
BFGoodrich tires and wheels that are in good shape as well. This
car does have a few minor issues but with a little TLC, you can be
back galloping in no time!
