Vehicle Description
1963 Ford Thunderbird with just under 14k miles( On dash , believe to be correct ) for purchase. The Thunderbird was redesigned in 1961 with a distinct bullet-like appearance. Along with the big overhaul of the styling, the Thunderbird came with impressive standard features that would be expensive options on other automobiles at the time including the "swing away" steering wheel, power steering, power brakes, back-up lights, and bucket seats. Another innovation was the "floating rear-view mirror" which is now the placement of the rear-view on almost all vehicles today. The Thunderbirds continued their selling success, and when Ford decided to revive the line in 2002 it was this generation's styling cues that dominated the modern take on the popular classic.
