For sale in our Dallas showroom is a great piece of Americana. A 1973 Chevrolet Corvette. Known for its changeover year styling, it is the very last of the chrome bumper cars. Federal regulations required the front bumpers of these cars as well as many others to be made of softer materials to absorb crashes at low mph’s so out with the front chrome bumper and in with the urethane. The 1973 features a urethane front bumper and the classic chrome rear bumper which is what makes this car easily identifiable. As you can see there are some custom touches to this car like the metallic orange paint and the American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels. What hasn’t changed? The original 350 CID V8 with plenty of power to get her moving and cruising along. The transmission is original as well, it shifts well, and the power steering and power brakes makes this an enjoyable drive. The black leather interior is in good shape as is the carpet, dash, and door panels. With some minor repairs this could be an awesome all around sports car. The features include AC, AM/FM Radio, T-Tops, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Telescopic Wheel, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels.
