For sale in our Houston showroom is a 1964 Chevrolet Nova SS with some serious performance goodies. Under the hood of this American muscle machine is a 327 CID V8 engine with aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and Edelbrock intake. The engine features a 1965 steel crank with a 4-bolt main, MSD ignition, Hooker headers, Demon carburetor, and Moroso oil pan. It is pushing approximately 400 horsepower! Backing the stout power train is a Muncie 4-spd with a Hurst shifter. Behind that, a 9" rear-end with 3:73 posi gears. Allowing a performance based smooth ride is Competition Engineering shocks and traction bars. The Nova SS, while restored in 1999, stills holds its own at local cars shows. Options include: AM radio, hub caps, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and rally wheels. The 327 sounds great through 3" exhaust which dump out just in front of the rear wheels. This gives you that muscle car look you are longing for. If you are looking for an American steel bodied muscle car with plenty of power and character, this is it. First generation Nova's are small and agile. They make a great all around driving machine.
