The owner / seller has been the steward of this classic Corvette since February 2007, when he purchased the car from the fourth owner, with 72,500 miles on the odometer. He has spoken with all previous owners and complied a complete history of the car at attests to the car always being well cared for and properly maintained. Shortly after purchasing the car, the current owner sent the car to The Bowtie Shop, a premier Corvette restoration shop in Massachusetts, to be stripped and repainted. The exterior finish today continues to present in excellent condition. Last winter the car was sent back to The Bowtie Shop to have the engine completely rebuilt. While the engine was out of the car, the upper A arms, bushings, bolts, nuts and washers were restored / replaced. All new wheel bearings, two new ball joints were replaced with correct riveted ball joints, and the steering box was rebuilt. This summer the carpeting was replaced, with heat and sound barrier throughout, and the seat foam and seat covers were replaced. This is a car that needs nothing.
