Cadillac got it right when they combined their popular luxury sedan, the CTS with a fire breathing variant of the supercharged LS9 from the ZR1 Corvette. Referred to as the LSA, this OHV all aluminum V8 pushes out 556 horsepower thanks to an Eaton roots style supercharger. This combination of a luxury vehicle with big horsepower makes for a high performance car that is comfortable to drive every day. Cadillac stacks up with the BMW M5 and Mercedes Benz E63 AMG with the CTS-V and sells it for much much less. This particular example is a 2011 model which features the 6 speed 6L90 automatic transmission which delivers the power to the rear wheels. It rides on coil over shocks and features Brembo disc brakes in all four corners. The V model gets special 19" wheels with 255 and 285 mm rubber to help get the power to the ground. It's amazing to think this baby will rocket you from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, with the air conditioning on, and the premium stereo playing. This particular V has a few extra ponies with the help of a different upper pulley and a custom dyno tune. With this extra power you're sure to surprise anyone you pull up to at the lights.
