This great driving and running 1965 Pontiac GTO has but a mere 73k documented miles accumulated on its original 389/360HP (YR Code) engine and 2 speed automatic transmission. As the pictures will denote, it has and continues to be immaculately maintained. Having been purchased in April 1965 in Lavonia, GA, this car has seen only southern driving. Its current owner continues to keep it garaged and for good reason, its a beautiful classic needing nothing but a new home. PHS records documents the following items when purchased:
- GTP Option 360 HP 389 engine
- 3.55:1 SAF-T-Trac Rear end
- 2 speed automatic transmission w/console shift
- Paint code CC (Cameo White) w/Red interior (Code 216-35)
- Tinted glass which remains original
- Remote Drivers Mirror and day/night mirror
- Passenger side sun shade visor
- 2-speed wipers
- AM Push button radio with dealer installed reverb and rear speaker
- Rallye gauges w/tach
- Trunk/Hood lights
- 2-speed fan type rear window defoggers
- Whitewall tires (thin line)
- Manual steering
- Manual drum brakes
- T-3 headlamps (which are still on the car)
Since its initial construction the following items have been added/upgraded:
- Correct power steering system for/by Pontiac
- Correct Vacuum gauges on console
- Reverb Bass unit
- Coil over shocks
- Power steering
- Power brakes
- 1970 GTO front sway bars
All original parts removed/replaced remain in current owner possession it they which to be re-installed by new owner.
