Perhaps no other early 4WD has captured the American Spirit as the
Ford Bronco. The Ford Bronco was an instant hit when it was
introduced in 1966 as a rugged, simple and economical compact SUV.
The Bronco soon had a reputation for having many utility type uses
as well as superior off road capability.
This extremely well done Bronco made its way up to Michigan from
Texan a few years back. The vehicle was repainted recently in a
very rich yellow and really makes a statement with the top off. To
add on the beautiful yellow paint job, a very well-known painter
"Floate" did the pinstripe artwork. The current owners nick named
it Tweety (note, all of the Tweety Bird logos/decals are only vinyl
stickers and can be easily removed anytime!) When restored the
Bronco held its original rear quarter panels that are uncut and in
wonderful condition. The reliable and strong 302 V8 gives the
driver plenty of power and engages with the 3spd flawlessly. Once
you get inside this Bronco you will notice the original seats have
survived the years very nicely. Behind the wheel you will notice
the proper dash with all proper knobs and instruments. The previous
owner added a new Tachometer and aftermarket radio! With a pull of
the knob and all lights function properly with turn signals,
high/low beams, and reverse lights. The instrument gauges also
works as they should.....just get in and with a turn of the key
this Bronco comes alive and you are off at highway speeds with
ease.
Quality Broncos are becoming very difficult to find and even harder
to find in unmodified condition. If you are looking for an enjoyable
driving Bronco that has a very unique look, this one is for you. It
has the benefit of both qualities....a reliable driver and
outstanding appeal for local car shows.
