is proud to offer for sale this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Some of the
most iconic American cars of all time are affectionately known as
either the 5/6/7 Chevy's or the Tri-Five Chevrolets, beginning with
the '55 and ending with the most well know, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
The '57 Chevy had all the characteristics that made the cars of the
era so desirable, V8 power, 50's style full of chrome and naturally
those pronounced tail fins! They were available in a full range of
body styles including Sedan, Hardtop, Wagon and of course
Convertible. They also became one of the most cherished body styles
of the era to be turned into mean looking quarter milers or
customized which in today's world translates to a Resto Mod. This
absolutely stunning Pearl White 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is the
complete Resto Mod package for any Chevy or car collector. The
previous owner had an intentional focus to create something special
and uncommon, yet retain all the very desirable body lines and
benefit from modern touches. This Bel Air is finished in bright
Pearl White and the look is enhanced with the Gold Chevy emblems.
As well, the magnificent front end with the chrome and rubber
bullet bumper guards is classic Chevy. Lift up the distinctive '57
hood with the dual chrome torpedoes to reveal a 350 cubic inch Fuel
Injected V8 with aluminum heads which provide plenty of power and
reliability. As evidenced by the photos, a tremendous amount of
time and money has been invested to elevate not only the engine and
accessories, but, also the entire car. Literally, just about every
component part has been removed, disassembled, and polished,
painted or chromed. Witness the large items like the polished
intake and matching valve covers, accessory housings and drive
pulleys, polished air conditioning compressor and evaporator,
custom radiator, rad cap, top and bottom hoses, all the steel
braided lines, chrome master cylinder, hood hinges and springs. In
this case, the small details make all the difference as can been
seen by the all polished alloy brackets, adjustments rods,
reservoir bottle, custom wire heat shields and chromed hood latch.
Driving excitement is transferred to the Goodyear Eagle tires
mounted on American Racing Torq Thrust Wheels. At the back, the
view is equally impressive with the two tail fins, two bumper
guards and dual exhaust with all exterior chrome appearing to be in
excellent condition. The trunk houses the battery along with a
modern sound system consisting of a built in subwoofer box,
amplifier and remote CD changer. Open the door, noting the bow tie
door locks and you are welcomed into a bright and equally well
restored pure White interior. The big comfortable white bucket
seats are divided by a full console running up to the dash. The
driver has a modern white steering wheel mounted on the original
style steering column mounted automatic shifter. The stock '57 dash
has been nicely fitted with modern easy to read analog and
electronic gauges. Under inspection one can see the resto was not
limited to the top side! The undercarriage is well detailed with
the underbody being painted and a beautiful gloss black frame. Any
enthusiast, collector or knowledgeable professional can inspect
this vehicle and appreciate the time, effort, love and money that
was spent to take the car to this level. The 1957 Chevy is one of
