Up for sale in our Louisville Showroom is this absolutely gorgeous 1967 Ford F100 Short Bed pickup truck. Ford produced the fifth generation F-Series trucks from 1967 to 1972, making this 1967 F100 the 1st year of this body style. The fifth-generation F-series pick-up was built on the same platform as the 1965 revision of the fourth-generation. This combination provided a much better ride quality and also helped to reduce tire wear. The exterior of this F100 has been kept simple yet tasteful with a two combination of pale yellow on the body and the top of the cab painted in white. Inside the cab, the interior has been kept pretty much stock with a bench seat, with the exception of a chrome tilt steering column and Billet Specialties Steering wheel.. This is where the pretty much stock look stops! Under the hood is a potent 460 Big Block Ford engine that has been mated to a C6 automatic. As the current owner says, “when you tromp the go pedal, it’ll plant yer butt in the seat! In order to get the proper stance and good ride quality, a late model ford Crown Victoria front end has been bolted in place. It is actually a very popular swap when customizing these ol’F100’s. With the acceleration that is provided by the 460 CID engine, a power disc brake system and gets this slowed back down in a hurry! Not only are there brake rotors on every corner, but they are drilled rotors to maximize braking while reducing heat and warpage. The truck currently sits on a set of American Racing aluminum alloy wheels, 18’s in the front/20’s in the rear, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle radial tires. Options on this 1967 Ford F100 include: Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires.
