The series was geared more towards the pony car’s with its road course action and limited motor size. Ford had the boss 302 with its hybrid Windsor Cleveland culmination making a high revving high horsepower small block. When mated with the slim and trim Mustang body it was an instant success. This Boss resto mod replica has taken those traits and improved on them making a great all around performance vehicle. Ofcourse the first business to take care of was the power plant. With that in mind a real boss 302 engine was sourced. Once the engine was found a real Shelby Dual Four intake was found giving the ability to place 2 450 CFM Holley’s on top feeding this high revving small block just the right amount of fuel. With the stainless steel valves and roller rocker arms this is one of the best revving motors I have heard. All of that has been backed up by a T56, yes a 6 speed transmission , making this a very good highway car. This also gives you the convenience of running a 4.11 gear in the 9” rear end while still achieving decent gas mileage. Complemented by a tube chassis front end which allows for this unique coil over set up making this pony handle like it’s on rails. Ofcourse you need to be able to stop this Yellow streak and with the Wilwood setup installed upfront breaking has never been nicer. The inside has been adorned with a set of buckets upfront which were covered with a very nice leather giving the interior a classier feel. With all of the work that has been put into this car we are confident that whether the new owner is carving up a back country road, seeing what there best ET at the track is or simply cruising the highway a smile will be plastered on there face.
