In 1963 the first prototypes were seen and by 1965 the first 911's made it to the USA. The rest, as they say, is history. With its classic Porsche styling and smooth body lines this German machine is ready to cruise on the open road. When Ferdinand Porsche set up his first shop in 1948 producing 40-horsepower rear engine sports cars he never dreamed of what was possible in automobile engineering. From the introduction of the 356 Porsche had kept a low stance, smooth-lined comfortable sports car as the staple of its brand. The styling has become so iconic that now a Porsche can be distinguished over any other car by even a novice. This Black on Beige convertible features and aftermarket steel slant-nose conversion as well as the flared rear and whale tail trunk spoiler. Under the spoiler is the iconic rear mounted, fuel injected 3.2 liter Porsche engine.
