From the factory you got 500 horsepower, when you start tinkering things change quickly. Changing the pulleys with a 2.4 upper pulley and a 10% underdrive pulley. A Gates green belt was used to replace the factory belt and an addition of an idler pulley takes up any slack created by the new pulleys. A JTL Carbon Fiber Big intake kit was installed to aid in getting larger volumes of air needed into the engine. The factory supercharger was also ported letting even more air get into the mix. An SCT tuner with a Lund tune controls the Fuel, Air, and Spark combination to maximize the power. An MGW adjustable short shifter is in charge of directing the gear changes in short order. Getting the power from the front of the car to the back is a Driveshaft shop aluminum drive shaft. All of the fluids were replaced with Redline fluids for maximum lubrication. The factory shaker 1000 system is present with the exception of a Kenwood DDX470 head unit with Bluetooth (active) and back up camera capability (no camera installed). The grey metallic paint with the matte black stripes is a nice offset and looks the part of performance. The street manners have not changed and if desired, can be driven daily without drama. But remember this car goes from mild to insane in short order so caution is recommended. But let’s be honest, it is a whole lot of fun.
