1957 Ford Ranch Wagon.
Automatic - 312ci V8
This completely restyled 1957 Ford was longer roomier and sleeker. The frame got wider and was supported by an entire new suspension and new, more powerful engine. The result was a highly desirable car that finished first in the production race (beating Chevrolet; a feat Ford managed in only two years in the 50's. The other being 1954). The 1957 Tudor Ranch Wagon has been and continues to be a favorite of Street Rod and custom car builders and fans. This 2 door wagon has survived in rare stock configuration Ranch Wagon and is in great condition, visually and mechanically. The vast majority of Ranch Wagons in the gallery at 1957Ford.com are Street Rods or customs. It has travelled just over 14,000 original miles. It has had just one repaint and the interior remains original. It is in remarkable time-capsule condition. The data plate indicates the following: Body - Ranch Wagon Color – Cumberland Green/Colonial White two tone exterior (code GE), rim - green/white vinyl interior, and built here in California at the San Jose plant. This nostalgic survivor sports the desirable 4-barrel T-Bird Special V8 engine and dress-up kit. This is the very RARE D code engine which is the optional 312ci 245 Thunderbird Special V8. It is also equipped with power steering and power brakes. It is a beautiful car both to admire and drive. It is a real crowd pleaser.
