For sale in our Chicago showroom is this original 1992 Chevrolet Corvette. 1992 saw the introduction of the second generation of Chevrolets small block engine, named the LT1. The LT1 has some significant technological advancements over the previous generation, including a more accurate crank position sensor, reverse-flow cooling system, and much improved cylinder head design. All of this helped the aluminum-headed 5.7 liter engine produce a respectable 300 horsepower, and 330lbs of torque. All of this made for quite a sporty ride. The automatic transmission takes care of gear selection so you can enjoy the open road. The car is truly a low-mileage example with only 30,527 original miles showing on the odometer. The paint shows a fantastic shine. The interior has been well taken care of, and shows minimal wear in the seats and carpeting. The rims are the factory Corvette “Saw Blade” style that had a chrome-plating added to them to pop against the black paint. The top has no signs of wear, and moves up and down with ease.
