Porsche as usual has redefined the sports car market with the
introduction of the all new Carrera 4 edition in 1989. Porsche
borrowed the super car 959 components to allow the new Carrera 4 to
be one of the first large production all-wheel drive vehicle, or as
Porsche likes to refer to it as Push & Pull system. With an
all-wheel drive system that was always on demand and would never
allow the driver to get to sideways on the road or gravel. Porsche
designed this new 964 body to appeal to the masses rather than just
the purist with refined creature comforts and improved climate
control system.
This black exterior paint is in wonderful condition and the entire
vehicle overall shows the evident of being well cared for by the
previous owners. The other cosmetics on this car are quite
remarkable as well, it drives and handles with pleasure. The
previous owners have kept very well documentation and records of
all service and work done on the car and have provided us with all
of that paperwork. The performance on this 911 is top notch and the
looks and feel are a pleasure to be part of. Features of the car
work nicely and the fit and finish is very clean and pure. Some of
the best features include a newer Alpine aftermarket radio head
unit, Alpine front door speakers, a Rockford Fosgate amp, power
driver set, power passenger seat, power convertible top, power
driver and passenger window, working heater, working A/C, 18 inch
chrome Porsche wheels wrapped in 265/35/ZR18 tires (the original
wheels are also available), black Porsche calipers, a mint
condition convertible boot cover, well treated and cared for
leather and to top it all off this beauty will start right up and
drive like it just rolled out of the factory. Our test drive showed
that it is strong in every gear, smooth shifting, sure footed
handling and excellent braking.
It is no secret that Porsche's have become a global commodity, not
as a fad, but as an appreciation of artful design combined with
quality of engineering. This 911 (964) Carrera 4 embodies that
statement as Porsche needed something fresh for its 911 to succeed
the beloved Carrera's of the 80's. Porsche also always appreciated
