For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1974 Plymouth Road Runner. This would be the last year for the second generation Road Runner and some say the last of the true Road Runner muscle car. Plymouth produced the Road Runner from 1968-1980. Engines ranged from a little 318 Small Block all the way up to a 440 cubic inch V8 Big Block. This '74 Road Runner is powered by the original 360 cubic inch Small Block and is mated to 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission and sending the power to a 8 3/4 rear end housing 3.55 gears. The mileage is original at 70,078. This is a rare car being that it is unrestored and has only been maintained and very well cared for over the years. Equipment consist of Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering and the 360 V8. Painted in Silver Frost with red accent stripes over black vinyl interior. Inside is all standard Plymouth with a bench seat, column shift and a full array of gauges. Survivor cars are becoming very tough to find and to find one like this in such great condition is a true find. This has original paint, interior and drivetrain.
