Vehicle Description
Starting with an outstanding California car it was updated with
modern driveline. A GM crate 350 motor with aluminum intake, Holley
carb, HEI ignition coated headers mated to a 700R-4 overdrive
automatic was installed. Rebuilt rear end. Completely new TCI front
end with tubular control arms, rack and pinion power steering. New
power disc brake conversion. New heat and air conditioning system.
Has electric fan. Upgraded to 12 volt system, painless wiring.
Everything is new-alternater, radiator, dual exhaust, electric
wipers, radial whitewall etc. The car was a cream puff to start
with. Zero rust. The underside of hood and jambs have clean
original paint. Has oil change sticker from 1971. Body is straight
and fits tight. Doors shut with no effort. Has a smooth glossy
finish, painted 25 years ago! Excellent chrome, glass, rubber etc.
Interior is beautiful. New correct pinstripe upholstery on rebuilt
seats. Correctly redone door panels. Amazingly nice original faux
woodgrain trim. Clean trunk and motor compartments. This car looks
bone stock inside and out. It's for the person that wants an old
car that can be driven reliably and comfortably. Impressive
car.
