Following the death of its original owner, this 1948 Studebaker Commander sat in a barn until 1996. Currently showing only 26,984 original miles this car is a true survivor. It has been owned by the same individual for the past 19 years during which time it has undergone routine maintenance including a recent front brake system replacement and new water pump. Its straight, ding free body has received one repaint in its original dark red. Most of the original glass is in excellent condition however the passenger door glass is cracked. The chrome and trim are all in good to excellent condition and she wears the original steel wheels with chrome hub caps, trim rings and wrapped in wide white sidewall tires. Inside is very clean original style dark red cloth bench seat interior. Much of the upholstery is original and all appears in very good condition.
