Vehicle Description
This 1977 Ford F-150 Super Cab gives you practical space with a
rarely seen back seat. But really the custom paint, powerful V8,
and exceptionally affordable price are what already had you looking
for the number to call us.
The badging might say "Custom" but you already knew that from the
moment you laid eyes on this F-150. It's a 1977 model, but it has
been given the later square headlamps and custom clear indicators.
The original red paint has been resprayed into a more modern matte
finish. Now when the light hits the sheetmetal, you can really
enjoy the creases that Ford made four decades ago and appreciate
how straight how everything appears today. There's custom
pinstriping on the hood, sides, rear, and tailgate to really amp up
the distinction level on this already standout pickup. And like any
good American classic, there's still room for bright chrome on the
grille and bumpers. But also like any good pickup, there's plenty
of functionality built into this custom. The Rhino Liner paint in
the bed and trailer hitch in the rear step bumper are always great
features, and we bet you noticed the extra windows in the cab.
A comfortable brown cloth and vinyl interior is always a nice
greeting when you open the door. The side panels, carpeting, and
dash pad all match the two rows of seating in a nicely executed
package. Yes, two rows of seating. Rarely do you get to find a
vintage truck that has the practicality of being able to carry the
whole family. Plus, you get other great features like tinted
windows, an upgraded three-spoke steering wheel, heat/defrost, and
an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input to hook-up and/or charge your
phone, iPod, etc.
The engine bay has a nice bit of flash from pieces like the valve
covers and air cleaner, but this looker is also a worker. It's a
rebuilt 351 cubic-inch V8 with all of its belts, wires, and hoses
in such a tidy condition that you know this F-150 is as ready to
work as you are. But good maintenance also means it's ready to
play, too. The whole pickup has been expertly lowered so not to
disturb the desirable twin I-beam front suspension and the dual
exhaust has even been adapted to the lower setup. Plus, staggered
18/20-inch Boss wheels (front/rear) nicely add to this fun and
aggressive attitude. Add in the three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, upgraded front disc brakes w/drilled rotors, and
the grip of modern performance tires, and this classic is a great
anytime/anywhere driver.
Rare, interesting, and affordably practical - this is the perfect
pickup for someone who wants a vehicle that makes the scene and can
still do the heavy lifting. Since that's a lot of us, you might
want to hurry up and call today!
