1960 AMC Rambler Custom Street Rod
Wow! If you want to make a statement or go to a cruise-in/show and
be assured you will be the only one there with a certain car...this
one is for you! This is a totally custom and professionally built
street rod with all the bells and whistles on a very unique
platform in a '60 Rambler.
The car is powered by a Chevrolet 400ci V-8 with an automatic Turbo
350 transmission attached to a B&M Quicksilver shifter and
getting to the ground through a Ford 8? rear-end. Fuel gets from
the new aluminum gas tank to the engine through a big Edelbrock
4-barrel carburetor and the block is painted to match the car with
chrome accents/new wiring all over. It is built on a custom tube
chassis with a tubbed rear-end and air ride in the back to adjust
the height up and down. The front has been permanently lowered
using a Mustang II suspension. The car has been professionally
painted to show quality in a purple and raspberry combination that
flows really well together with air brushed graphics that complete
the look. The car has new chrome bumpers and all of the glass is in
perfect condition.
Inside you will find a very well appointed cockpit complete with
Vintage Air & Heat. The entire inside has been done in carpet and
vinyl with leather bucket Corvette seats for you and the passenger
behind the fully tinted windows. There is a full set of Auto Meter
gauges are built in the dash with a big tachometer mounted right in
front of you up high. An aftermarket stereo system can be installed
front and back at our dealer cost if you should so desire.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind cruising machine with a lot of power
to go with it. It needs nothing but someone to get in and take her
out for some fun!
