Tens of thousands of dollars and many, many hours were spent on the professional, custom build of this One-Of-A-Kind BEAUTY !! It was built as a tribute to the Mayberry Police car featured on The Andy Griffith Show and has been featured in several car shows, parades, photo shoots and movies. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL Intake manifold, ORIGINAL Exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL Style Chromed "Chevrolet" scripted valve cover, ORIGINAL Style Chromed "Oil Bath" air cleaner, ORIGINAL Carter carburetor, GPI Heavy Duty Aluminum radiator, Electric radiator cooling fan for parade use, Electric fuel pump and it has also been fully converted to a 12 volt electrical system with full Painless wiring harness. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Three speed "3-On-The-Tree" column shift synchro-mesh manual transmission which also functions very well.
