New fuzzies and window seals ordered. Wrong type going back to get correct ones. Finished the "A" frame dust shields. Going to re install the Panasonic Flip top Stero next week, when top is complete. Looking for new rollers for windows so they go up smooth, have new cranks in hand.

Update: Nov 5: Nobody liked my stripes so sanding them off and painting car a solid red color, unless someone wants a different color. Too late! have already primed and painted red the car. Working on some small cosmetic issues. No stripes. Top has been ordered. Standard white top. Will order new top next week. Done .

This is a running and driving car at this time. I accidentally backed into a refrigerator in the shop see pictures near rear deck keys. But, time to move on to another project even though this on is not 100% finished. It is 96% finished. Has 2 re-chromed bumpers, new factory full sheet metal from firewall to trunk. Has all new brakes and lines, fuel tank, interior trim, has a rebuilt motor which has matching numbers to the frame the VIN and engine. 8 Cylinder V 8 engine with new rings, and bearings, new 3/4 cam, gaskets, oil pump, alternator, starter, master cylinder, all gauges work and 3 aux gauges added. (oil, amp, temp). New interior door panels, side panels, rear seat covers. Front bench seat. Wiring re-done on dash and most of lights in car. I have several hundred pictures over the years of work. I have included a variety for you approval most taken today. The body was removed from the frame and the frame sand blasted and painted. Body re installed with new rubber mounts and bolts after welding in new floors. If you or someone you trust wishes to visits the car for a personal inspection that can be arranged. I have a video on how to build the engine and also on how the engine ran when it was first cranked up immediately after rebuild. Oil has lead added to equal 1500 ppm of lead to provide adjustment from the 750 ppm of standard oil of today. Used plaster gauge during rebuild of engine. Rochester 2 bbl. carb rebuilt with new fuel pump, alternator, and starter. Have some of the rubber gaskets for the doors in pictures on windshield and some "newer parts" which go with the car. Have locks for doors, new lock for trunk and ignition. New trunk seal already installed.
The hydraulic pump is a replacement pump from another convertible. The clear lines are new and the convertible lift cylinders are new also. The rear seat was rebuilt and I left the cover (in rear seat) so that you can see the details of the work. The front bench seat was obtained from a 66 Buick convertible locally. The fabric was spray dyed white and the dark blue was original to the seat. The rear fabric was likewise spray dyed because the whites were of a different hue.
New hydraulic master cylinder. All of the brake parts are new except the hubs which were turned and are original.

The transmission linkage was just hooked up a week ago and now it is possible to shift the car from the inside. It has a new torque converter on the flex plate coupled to the original transmission. The Rochester carburetor has been rebuilt. The new fuel is now hooked to the new fuel tank with the cleaned original fuel line and new rubber transition hoses. The fuel vent likewise hooked up, there is a yellow electrical line running from the fuel gauge to the interior of car not hooked up at this time. The original radio is pictured, but not installed. The door seals are new in the package and there are several outside extra door handles and possibly some window cranks. As you can see the door panels are not installed. Pictured are the replacement arm rests for the door panels. The dash pad is new and I think I paid $250 for it but is very nice. The rear arm rest panel was left outside and the other is missing?? Just cranked the car sitting on the seat inside and using the new fuel tank and lines it worked well. Car is inside my crowed shop. If you want to see the underneath of this car while on the rack. Located in Decatur, Georgia. If you want a current walk around video, just send to me your contact information and I will send you a link to Drop Box where it is stored in the clouds. That video shows the Panasonic tilt top installed but Panasonic radio is not included in the price on this ad. Today we started wet sanding the car and will repaint a gloss red color.
Just installed the original chrome 14 inch wheels which now come with the car with one center cap. See pictures.
Spending much time as several hundred dollars a week getting the small items. Have the "A" frame dust shields on hand and got new chrome latches installed "finally". Got new window cranks today Nov. 10. Call 770-402-2738 for more information.
