This example has recently received a full JD Classics restoration and features an extensive list of upgrades to full JD Sport specification including JD Sport high torque engine, JD Sport uprated cooling and electronics, JD Sport electric power steering and JD sport custom exhaust system including handmade stainless steel manifold. It also benefits from a JD Sport five speed gearbox, JD Sport suspension and braking package, JD Sport hidden inertia reel seat belts, bespoke modified seats and pedals to accommodate the taller driver and period radio with iPod connection. Displaying meticulous attention to detail, the car was fully restored over an 18 month period from a vapour-blasted bodyshell and presents beautifully in its Opalescent Silver Grey paint, Red Leather interior and 16 inch stainless steel competition wire wheels.
